1. Who We Are

Wokingham Airport Taxi is a licensed private hire taxi and airport transfer operator based in Wokingham, Berkshire, United Kingdom, serving Wokingham, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Finchampstead, Arborfield and Winnersh. 2. What Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to arrange and complete your journey:

  • Your name, telephone number and email address
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses, and the date and time of travel
  • Flight number and airline, where you book an airport transfer
  • Passenger and luggage numbers, and any accessibility requirements you tell us about
  • Payment confirmation details (card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number)
  • Records of your correspondence with us, including enquiry form submissions
  • Standard website analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type

3. Why We Use Your Information

We use your data to perform the contract you enter into when you book a journey, and for our legitimate interests in running a safe and reliable service. Specifically, to:

  • Quote, confirm and carry out your booking
  • Pass the pickup details to the driver assigned to your journey
  • Monitor your inbound flight so your pickup time can be adjusted
  • Contact you about your booking, including changes and delays
  • Take payment and issue receipts or invoices
  • Deal with complaints, lost property and insurance matters
  • Meet our licensing and legal obligations

4. Who We Share It With

We share the minimum necessary booking details with the driver carrying out your journey, with our booking and dispatch software provider, and with our payment processor. We may share information with the licensing authority, the police or our insurers where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. How Long We Keep It

Booking and payment records are kept for six years, as required for tax and accounting purposes. Enquiry form messages that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Website analytics data is retained in aggregated form only.

6. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies that are necessary for the booking form to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. Our booking widget is supplied by a third-party booking platform and sets its own cookies to hold your quote and booking session. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the booking form may not work correctly if necessary cookies are disabled.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep
  • Object to or restrict how we use your data
  • Ask for your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

8. Security

This website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to booking records is limited to staff and drivers who need it to carry out the journey. Card payments are handled by our payment provider and full card numbers are never stored on our systems.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Please check back periodically.
